Bishop Derrick H. Smith
Bishop Derrick H. Smith was born in the district of Nain, St. Elizabeth on the beautiful island of Jamaica, West Indies. At the tender age of fifteen he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior.
He founded the Refuge Temple Ministries in 1980 and also established four outstations in the states of New York, Connecticut and Georgia. He is the Presiding Prelate-Elect for the New Covenant Apostolic Churches International (NCACI). Bishop Derrick H. Smith is perhaps more recognized for the great work he is currently doing in Jamaica, West Indies(Myersville, St Elizabeth) where he has erected a massive beautiful Church edifice. The Refuge Temple Learning Academy (a free educational institution) and the premises also houses a thirteen bedroom suite with the Derrick H. Smith Conference Hall, available for special occasions in a godly atmosphere.
